How to create custom email notification in LMS

Pre-requisites: LMS Admin Access to create email notification template.

Steps: 

1. Log in to SF and select Learning Administration



2. Select System Administration --> Manage Email --> Email Notification Templates



3. Click Add New
 


4. Enter Template Id and Description. It is recommended to prefix the custom notifications with text "Custom_" so that we can identify which notifications are custom and which ones are standard.

Select Token Set Id - AD_HOC_NOTIFICATION 





Click Add



5.  Select Messages Tab, tick the editor checkbox and click Apply Changes



6. Click Launch editor to update the notification subject and text





7. Select tokens from tokens set as required. 




7. Once notification is updated, Click Save and Send Preview to verify the updated notification. You will receive Preview notification to your outlook mailbox.



8.  Copy the source code of notification and paste it in English UK language as well.










9.  Update the Subject, Save and Send Preview



10. You can attach any required documents the notification.

For that, Click Attachment tab under launch Editor and attach the document.

Enter Attachment Id and secription. Browse the file amd click






Once you create custom notification, you can use that for sending email notifications to class participants.
