How to run ad-hoc report in Onboarding


Prerequisite

  • Access to Onboarding admin (platform permission) & Reports access in Onboarding (Security ONB permission).

If user does not have the above permissions and requires access please submit a request to the HR Systems team via the  online request form.

Access Onboarding - Reports

  1. Access SuccessFactors from the People Systems tile on the InVent home page:


  2. Click on "SuccessFactors"



  3. Log in (network access)




  4. In SuccessFactors, from Home, select "Onboarding"



  5. On the Onboarding menu select "Reports"



  6. On the reports menu select "Advanced Reports"


  7. Select "Create"



  8. The following box is displayed: "Step 1: Set Report Parameters"

     1. Type a name for your report (note: naming conventions for reports are not required, however choose something that you will be familiar with);

    2. Leave this set to Private, if you choose Public anyone with Reports access to open that report;

    3. Leave this ticked

    4. Choose Report Template from the list: Digital Services Equipment Ordering Status Report

  9. Click on "Next" to move to the next screen



  10. Step 2: Set Report Fields: On this screen you will be shown the fields that relate to the template you chose in the previous screen.  If you wish to re-order fields or remove fields you can do that on this screen, by selecting the field and using the buttons on the right side of screen to perform the action.



  11. If you are happy with these fields proceed to the next screen by selecting "Next"



  12. Step 3: Set Report Filter: On this screen you can select the date parameter you want to run the report for.

    1. Process: Leave this "Onboarding New"
    2. Date Type: Leave this "Start Date"|
    3. From: Select a date
    4. To: Select a date



  13. Select "Next" when done



  14. Step 4: Save Report as Template: You only need to do this if you want to save this report as a template, however there is already a template for this process so skip this step by selecting "Finish"



  15. You will return to the "Advanced Reports" home screen. 



  16. Your reporting is running in the background, click on "Refresh" to view the status of your report's progress.



  17. When your report appears in the list you will notice a progress bar at the end of the row.  When your report's progress has reached 100%, click on it.  You can then download this report in Excel by clicking on "To Excel" (after you have selected the report and the report is highlighted in blue as per the below screenshot)




  1. Select "OK" to the security prompt box



  2. Open the report locally on your device (note the screenshot may look different to the one below depending on what web browser you are using)
