Onboarding Experience within Broadspectrum for Salaried/Wages new hires

Background

Candidates who are "Hired" within the Recruitment Module of SuccessFactors (HR Central) on "Salaried or Wages" employment type requisitions are required to complete their on-boarding forms and polices via the Onboarding Module of "SuccessFactors".

Hiring Managers who recruit candidates with "Salaried" employment type will be asked to complete Manager onboarding wizard for their new hires within SuccessFactors (HR Central).

Manager (Hiring Manager) - named as "Hiring Manager" on the job requisition

What is the employment type field in Job Requisition?

Within the job requisition there is a field "Please select Salary or Wages position".  This field is completed by the manager initiating the requisition.  It is important this field is correctly reflected to the correct employment type of the new hire(s).




How is the workflow initiated?

Once a candidate (attached to Salary or Wage employment type requisition) has formally accepted their position offer, the HR Service Centre will move the candidate to "Hired" status within the requisition (Recruitment Module) and initiate onboarding for that newly hired candidate.

This "initiate" activity triggers the following emails to candidates.

What does the new hire need to complete once they receive the email?

After the candidate receives the " Welcome Letter" email they will be asked to complete the following:

  1. Create system password
  2. Personal details
  3. Emergency contact details
  4. Tax Dec
  5. Bank account details
  6. Super
  7. Diversity
  8. Corporate policies
  9. Sign off

What Corporate polices are required to be signed off by new hire?

There are a number of Corporate policies that are required to be read and signed by each new hire.  There could be different variations of the policies on the new hires work country or employing entity.
